We believe in the power of photography to change lives. FairMail provides free photography training to local teenagers from vulnerable backgrounds in the Trujillo area of Peru, who are at risk of school dropout, and produces fair-trade stationery products – greeting cards, notebooks, e-cards – featuring the pictures they take. 

The photographers receive 60% of the profit from the sales of their pictures and they invest it in education, clothing, and house supply. FairMail also provides a health care plan to the photographers and their direct family members as well as counseling and personal guidance to support their personal and professional growth. 

FairMail combines professional product design with a social impact model that creates opportunities for youth to improve their lives through their own creativity.
